How do you decorate for the holidays like for harvest fest?
Do you just buy a holiday box, or do you buy the decorations in build mode and put them up?

- I usually search for decorations in the box and put those down, and the deco that's put on the house flags and stuff
- My entire family inventory is now filled with decor objects for various holidays. I switch them out when the next one comes around. A lot of things like the holiday cards, stickers and other wall decor just need to be changed to a different swatch.

I generally use the holiday box, and like MDianaSanders, I have a 'theme table'. Sims are so funny - I had my sim adopt a cat, and later, I noticed that one of her decorations was missing from her holiday 'theme table'. I thought it was just a glitch and forgot about it. A couple of days later, I was giving homeless townies fashion makeovers in CAS and saw that the sim who brought the cat for adoption has the kleptomaniac trait, lol. So THAT'S where my sim's holiday decoration went! But yeah, I love the holiday box, but if I were going for a specific look, I'd buy the decorations in build mode. :smile:- That is soo cute @MDianaSanders I may have to borrow it and start my own theme table,
- I do more on the interior than the exterior, which I never see because of the cut-out walls.
- 90% of the time, I click the box and "put up decorations" and that's it. For some houses I have bought some decorations that I place. I just put them in inventory when they are not used. Its very much not common to decorate the outside where I live. And we usually only decorate for christmas. We don't have any other BIG holidays.
- The options from the box and decorating the Christmas tree. That’s it.
- A little bit, if I feel like it. Especially for the two WinterFests I've had so far. My Sims and I put up a tree and some decorations on the outside of the house.

Yeah I have to be careful where I place phooto’s because of the cut out walls too.- I'm uncertain what went wrong on my last Harvest Day. I sent the Dad to decorate, clicked on the box to have him put up decorations, made my specific selections and nothing, as in NOTHING was put up. Face/palm. Oi.
