How do you dress your Sims?

It's based on outfits I wear. All of my Sims look like they shop at Charlotte Russe… in every age category.

i take into account their personality, hobbies, job, culture, climate of the world i stick them in, and income.
i think my personal taste probably plays a part in what i choose too, but i do actively try to not do that and make sure each sim's wardrobe is unique to them.
the only thing i will outright avoid is brightly colored clothing (like neon colors), because it hurts my eyes/nauseates me.

Both- cause I wouldn't wear what I wear if I could wear what I like.

Depending on their personality. Sometimes I don't even like what they wear. What I wear IRL is irrelevant.

Just anything I like and what I think fits to my Sim's personality. So some of the outfits I really love but I could not imagine wearing them myself! :)

I just dress my Sims up how I think they would dress. Sometimes they end up wearing something I would, other times they're wearing something I'd never consider.

They all have different styles which makes it difficult for me to answer, but I've never dressed a sim in anything I wouldn't wear or I wouldn't make my children wear. I have to be satisfied with the outfits they wear and make sure I think it looks nice. I'm quite an adventurous person, so I'm not picky on clothes. Of course, some outfits I would choose don't suit my sims, but they have never worn anything I wouldn't wear.

You need more options in your poll. I dress my sims by what I think looks good on them. Sometimes it ends up to being something I might wear other times not so much but OK for my sims. :smile:

Most of the time... but only with sims I can see more "like myself"
