How do you find a partner for your sims?
I am making a new family and thus a new story. I recently remade a few female townies based off of Avelinesims so need a few ideas on how to go through the process of elimination.

I have literally accosted randoms jogging by the house and imposed a relationship on them.
But usually I just have them try to meet people. I set up a lot of child and teen clubs to see if anything sparks there. I also have my teens "make friends" at school quite a bit so they meet a lot of other teens.
And if I'm starting a game I either create a couple, or I create a single and send them over to meet Caleb Vatore, who has become my Designated Mandatory Spouse for pretty much any save. :D
