How do you find a partner for your sims?

My sims usually go to public lots to meet people. If I see any good options, I will let them become friends and see if things work out. Sometimes I do have a specific sim in mind, but I will never cheat to get their relationship work. I will just put them in separate households and make them meet each other in game. If they don't like each other, then I would just move on.

I try to get them to make friends in a kids club while young or at the teen stage, but sometimes nothing really clicks until YA hood. Then I try to create a club for people with the same traits, or jobs and see how that goes. They sometimes just go out a lot to bars and see who shows up. I also have engineered relationships, but it's always fun to see the twists you don't expect happen for couples.

As I think about my current saves I tend to do family’s doing alternating between Pre-made and townies and occasionally other characters I create. I tend to use CAS with the full edit mode on so that I can fix townies and pre-made sims. I like having pretty sims!

I like remaking townies too, though I tend to try and keep their features the same

I just send them into some random lot and pick out some random potential partners. I'm not really picky.
