How do you get trick or treaters in seasons?

Unfortunately, you can't take your own sims trick or treating. Trick or Treating only involves other sims coming to your door.

You need to create it as a custom holiday, it's not one of the pre-made ones. You don't need the Spooky Stuff Pack for it, but if you have Spooky Stuff you can use the items to help complete the traditions (making pumpkins, the trick-or-treat bowl). Without Spooky Stuff, you can still complete the traditions using interactions that came with Seasons.

I like to put up the spooky candy bowl outside, or at the entrance of my sim's apartments, and the sims just go and take candy from it. It's entertaining to see the various effects as sims take candy from it.

A thing you can do for your household kids and teens to simulate trick or treat (Requires Spooky Stuff ) is to throw a spooky party. invite sims try to make them YA+ and as your household child or teen click on the guest and it will say something like: 'ask for treat' somewhwere in the friendy menu.

*facepalmed myself* I forgot they said you’d have to create it yourself, I felt something was weird around fall seasons. Thanks for the help

That’s also a good question! My toddler is about to age up tomorrow and I think that the next Halloween would be a fun time for her to trick or treat because I want her to participate in a lot of things.

I know this is not the topic of the forum, but I have never used this site and I am struggling to find a forum where I can ask for help regarding my game. Can someone help point me to a direction of one?
