How do you manage?

Dude, I don't even know. I have 5 sims and one kitten and I'm already sweating. :D

Use auto-solve needs for your sim if you haven't known about it already. Just click on the respective need icon and your sim will automatically fix that themselves.

Also, playing on Speed 1 will make sure they don't have those lag/staring at nothing moments.

One of my only households with pets I play with consists of two adults and two young adults, one toddler and two dogs. I've only had one time where I had to go to the vet, and it was because I triggered it by going there with a different household I think. The oldest person there seems to also be the only person getting sick often instead of the dogs. Maybe try repairing your game? I don't think it should happen everyday :#
Mine don't seem to get sprayed often, they just get dirty more than I'd like when they go out (but it's more manageable I think in comparison?)

The only ones that are pretty unhappy in the house is probably the toddler since her dad keeps hanging out with his sister's dog whenever he gets home, but she's starting to fill out her skills so she's more independent now so she can do things herself 'cause both her parents are pretty bad LOL
The resetting might be linked to CC if you use it, since some couches and stuff do that. S4S has a batch fix for those so you can fix them. If not, DeKey's suggestion of playing on speed 1 works, especially with bigger households.

My current household has 2 dogs raised from pups, I've not had them get sick yet or get skunk sprayed, in fact I haven't even seen a skunk yet so I'm guessing it is completely random. I haven't had the forgetfulness either yet which I'm glad for, I do that enough in the real, that said maybe it is in game to but my real self just forgets :P (getting old, it is fun lol)

So in the end I started to play an older save, it looks fine now :smile:
It was probably a game error. I am not using any cc/mods and I always play on speed 1.
Since I started, no spray, no vet, everything it's cool.

If you get the issue of having to visit the vet frequently (again), try purchasing the health treat from the vet's office fridge. It seems to cut down on vet visits.

I’m not even sure how I do it. But I’m about to add both a cat and a dog to my 10-Sim household (which happens to be an apartment). It’s mother, father, mother’s teenager and child from a previous marriage, father’s twin teens from a previous marriage, and then their one child and twin toddlers they had together. So we’ll see how that goes.

It’s probably going to be a nightmare. I’m so excited.

I'm not sure about skunk spraying my pets often go outside and in one house the cat seems to have a favorite bench but they stay away from the bushes so they haven't been sprayed by skunks at all. One of my cats got sick then the other one then that's it so far they're pretty healthy, I haven't had sims forget anything yet. Maybe it's a bug that could be fixed as for all the pets stuff maybe it's completely random and just needs to be tuned some more, guess we'll see.

2. Also, none of my pets have gotten sick, somehow? (I always play with pets now)
3. Oh gosh yes! My sims stands blankly for ages sometimes. Or just stops doing something it gets irritating as I can't find a way around it! Especially if I'm playing with a multiple pet household and need to let them out to pee or bath them etc!

2. have not gotten sick yet..
3. my sims do have that problem as well and it is annoying. I did notice that.

(do you know how much I love that they have a fox. >:) :D :) and also a raccoon. )
