How do you mix rotational and legacy playstyles?

I mark my legacy household as played with aging off, so I don't miss anything while I rotate to other households. I'm in Gen 8 in my legacy challenge. When I get bored with them and want to play the sibling or another spare, I just rotate to another household. As long as nobody is aging in my main legacy house I'm good lol. I like to rotate between houses just to break things up a bit lol.
