How do you play and what stories did you create for the premades?

I have this thing of preferring to play with premades than creating my own sims. I like the premades from the worlds and the Maxis gallery. I always try to cross stories between them and continue the gameplay. I'm curious to know how you guys play with the premades and maybe gather some inspiration for my own game.

I start: I LOVE to play with Ned Whalen. I always make him try to fit into a group, since he was a nerd his whole life and now, living alone, he can have a social life. My challenge is to always try to find him a girlfriend (premade too) who accepts him the way he is and adds a new lifestyle for him that isn't games and computers.

I also LOVE to play with Babs L'amour and make her a group of friends with Ollie, Andre, Cassie, Steve and June. And of course, create a love triangle between her and Ollie and Andre.

  • Oh I love Babs too!!!

In my first ever save in TS4 , Nancy broke up with Geoffrey Landgraab, Babs felt first sorry for him, but later the fell in love.

In my current save, years later, I repeated this scenario, here they are:

Here their daughter Georgia with step brother Malcolm.

Geoffrey and Malcolm (also Johnny who not pictured) have great relationships.

Nancy is the bad guy , lol 😆 Always 😇

Babs also kicked some trooper bum 😁

Also Bella.. not the new imposter one, but the first Bella.. here in front of Starlight Accolades with her daughter.

    and in Batuu..

  • I like to have premades as background sims in my save. It means I sometimes play them a bit and give them some kind of a story and then later when I feel like it's time I progress their story a bit. My legacy sims may also marry them or be their friends.

I have four legacy families at the moment, the Nairs, the Goths, the Trouts and the Pancakes. For example my Pancakes are descendants of Eliza and Bob whose daughter married Hugo Villareal and their daughter married Tomax Collette. Then I married the daughter with my Nair family and now their daughter, Tidy Pancakes, had a son with my Goth family's son. Currently I try to merge my legacy families into one big family and then I'll continue marrying premades into that family 😄

I have so many premade stories, but my favourite is probably the one where my proper celebrity Sofia Bjergsen married Octavia Moon.

The saddest one was Johnny Zest and Luna Villareal's love story that ended up in their divorce. Now Luna is an aspiring politician and Johnny is already an old comedian with a teenage son Jonah.

Venessa Jeong gave up her dream of becoming an actor and turned into a vampire instead. She currently lives with Miko Ojo in San Myshuno, though I think Miko may move away soon.

And Ulrike Faust was a paranormal investigator and had a son, Gideon, with Guidry. Now Ulrike has passed away though and Gideon lives in Chestnut Ridge with the Grove family. He loves horses.

  • I play rotationally, mostly my own sims, but I like to mix with premades whenever I get a chance. In my blog I have stories focusing on some premades:

  • Generally, I prefer to play with sims that I created myself, though there have been times when I've played with a few of the Maxis premade ones, because they 'fit' in the new packs I purchase. Such as Alex Moyer (I had her move in with my first 'hand crafted' Sim, when TS4 originally released), and Ophelia Specter (she's engaged with Grim atm, and trying to get pregnant).

I love having my sims interact and become friends (and sometimes more) with the Maxis premade ones, as well as the Townies. If one of my sims gets romantically involved with a Townie and I have them move in together, I will start playing that Townie as well. (Mostly to just get things done around the home and bring in simoleons for the family while I maintain focus on my original sim and any progeny.) I tend to create and play a single sim when I get a new EP or GP that provides a new world. (Sometimes I'll even create multiple households.) I also tend to play rotationally when I get bored with the 'current' sim I've been playing with for a while.

I have just started something new with my gameplay, though, so not quite sure how it will work out, but I'm very excited for it at this time. Basically, I've created a sim for my 'alter ego'; she's the character I am when playing any kind of RPG (either RL or online). Her name is Dulcinea and she's always based physically on my 19yr old self, but with auburn hair. (Which is the color I would have preferred if anyone had asked me before I was born. 😄) Dulci is pretty much the me I have always wanted to be, in any given RPG situation; she's always me, my actual personality, but she's also always created to fit into whatever RPG I'm playing in at any given time. (Dulci, my alter ego, began life back in my early D&D days - when that game first came out - and she's been with me through my WoW days and Skyrim, as well as my RL SCA, and my Second Life time [which I'm taking a break from, for a bit], and now she's here with me in TS4.)

One thing that never changes for me, and my sims, here, is that whenever the one I'm playing get a call from a friend or acquaintance with a question about going on a date, or getting to know someone better as a friend, or if they should have a baby .. you know, the major life stuff ... My sims' answer is always based on whether the 'request' will actively change the life of a major (playable for me) sim, or if it will just add to expanding that sim's friend pool. Like, if the requesting sim should go on a date with another specific sim (YES, if it's another townie, NO, if it's one of my main sims that I've actively played), or get to know someone better as a friend (always YES). For the try for a baby question, though, that one is always a NO, if it's about one of my played sims. (But would be a "decide for yourself" answer if it's about two townies.)

I've never really done any 'challenges' when I play (regardless of which sim I'm playing at the time), but with Dulci ... Who knows, I may just go for creating a family for her and starting a (possibly) large family tree. We'll see. 😊
