Lol, there's been quite a few threads about this over time. But here's mine:
Do you have aging on? Aging on for active housheold only (standard length). I turn it on for unplayed households for the length of my last played house per sim year.
Do you have story progression on? At the moment it is set for finding a job and retiring only. But I will turn it on with more options for unplayed households for the length of my last played house per sim year.
Do you play rotationally with your sims or maxis ones? My current game is my own sims only, but I have played Maxis sims in the past.
How many households do you play at one time? My current game is 28 households, 28 day seasons.
Just how do you do it basically? Sometimes I just do random rotations, but in my current game I am rotating alphabetically every 4 days. This way I will know who to play next and when I get to the end of the sim year I will play my Winter-played households through Spring so that the sims I played last Spring will then get played during Summer and so on down the line.
