I play a randomized rotation of all townies that have a household, whether they are my own creations, premades or townies that moved in with Neighborhood Stories. I have been playing with Neighborhood stories on for unplayed households, mostly off for played households outside of retiring or moving into a home. But for Unplayed Households, I got basically everything expect for having kids or pets. (Though if a household lingers long enough in Brindelton Bay, I will ensure they get at least one pet in their home)
I do also ensure that some untouched premades don't move out because I consider them too integral to the neighborhood.
I have often been sad about beloved townies that have been in my game for ages dying though. T_T
Aging is Long for active household, off for everyone else. And considering I have accidents on for untouched households...Grim's scythe looms in the background...
...thanks to how I play it though, I passively touch A LOT of households. Once I get to 175 Sims, I cut it back down to 150, keeping track of which ones I haven't visited in AGES.
