Vampires are secondary characters in my current game, so I don’t actually play them until they come into my storyline, but if I did, I would probably have a vampire who is trying to live a normal life except for that pesky vampirism thing. He lives in suburbia, has a job, a mate, 2.5 kids but at night has to go hunting.
I guess that's kinda what I was doing, but it felt wrong. I'm very much a family player, but I have now deleted the 2 kids...
@luciusstorm this is probably what I will be doing next with them. If they are ancient beings that live forever I suppose they would become very skilled at everything. And I want them to get rich, so will probably incorporate some of your ideas @CK213
@DaWaterRat I can see me getting bored with them long before I get bored with my 'normal' households.
Thanks, everyone, for your replies <3
I like @luciusstorm take on long life and learning.
Imagine looking at each Aspiration category and picking each aspiration that makes sense for your vampire and ordering them in a way that makes sense for their life progression. I imagine my Vampire might get bored with his or her surroundings and might want to make a few world excursions. I would have to make accommodations for a night life in Komorebi and its location based Aspiration.
My vamp could become a Curator from the Nature Aspiration category. They get the reward trait for being able to sell collectables for more.
They would only have to perform the aspiration and thereafter assign the collecting task to a familiar. The familiar would bring the collectables to my vamp and my vamp could sell them for a higher price. You could make it a challenge to tame a werewolf with a the Scavenger ability and make it your familiar. It could be very useful for gathering rare collectables to sell or add to the Mansion's room of world rarities.
