I considered "live" to be an adjective modifying "mode," so it only made sense to me that it should be /laɪv/ (lah-eev). I was actually confused by the topic at first because I never even considered any other way of pronouncing it. But now it does kind of make sense that it could be similar to "build mode." I'll always think of it as /laɪv/ (lah-eev) (like live TV) mode though. You can't stop me! :smiley:
