People in media (of any type) talk funny. :p It's just like I was told not to end a sentence in a prep etc.what makes more sense the way something is correctly stated or the way that is more comfortable and makes more sense to the mind. 'Mary got ran over, or 'Mary was over run' by a car. I would choose the first one but I would be wrong but it makes more sense. Does this sound right? almost over ran me? no, it makes more sense to say,ran over me.
