How do you put your fingers on keyboard when playing The Sims?

I usually only have my hand on the mouse. Unless I'm decorating or landscaping then it's on Alt or Shift. In live mode, I rarely use the keyboard except when typing in cheats or taking screenshots.

Index finger on C
Middle finger near 1,2,3,
little finger on or near TAB

Because I tend to take obscene amounts of screenshots while playing.

Same here, but not from world of warcraft. I can't remember when I used it first.

I have a 16 button mouse, so I don't really use my keyboard for this game- therefore my hands aren't on it during gameplay. It's one of the things I like about this game actually - I can slouch in my chair and play with just the mouse rather than having to sit up nicely at the keyboard.

I always have them on the arrow keys. Force of a long term habit :*

I was going to ask "How are you using WASD in an RTS game?" but then I realized Warcraft 3 is a different thing. :D

Personally, my hand stays parked so I can toggle between `, 1, and 3. I tend to seesaw between 1 and 3 with random pauses to do this or that.

Left hand:
Pinky - shift (because of overwatch lmao)
Ring - A
Middle - W
Pointer - D
Thumb - space bar

Right hand: mouse :p

I don't keep my fingers on keyboard. My right hand is controlling the mouse and my left hand is resting.
