How do you stay busy until RoM releases?

The Skyrim Creation Kit is a very powerful tool. In matter of fact, there are two mods that are in development right now that are recreating Morrowind and Oblivion for Skyrim. What I have done is focused on the character creation aspects to the Creation Kit. It allows you to create custom followers, npcs including shopkeepers, and any type of character you want, and this includes their appearance. You can assign them different classes, AI types, etc. You can even assign them schedules and marriage possibilities. The possibilities are endless.

Anyways, what I've done is took some of my main sims from TS4 and implemented them into the world of Skyrim. I placed my sim of me and my sim girlfriend as the main characters of the game. So, I control myself, and my sim girlfriend is a follower who I don't control. I created a custom class for her. I am a healer and a tanker, and she is an archer and a destructive magic user. She saves me when the dragons come, lol! They fly, and I can only hit them when they land on the ground because I don't focus on any ranged attacks. However, as I am focused in melee attacks and restoration magic, the undead fall fast! Anyways, I also set her as a friend and a marriage potential for marriage and romance so that sometime in the game we can get married, have some romance, and build a house etc. Skyrim allows this. Also, when waiting around when I am idle, she can do her own thing like wander around, do some blacksmithing, create arrows, drink in the tavern, etc.

As for my other main Sims, they are just NPCs doing their daily business. I put them as potential followers as well just in case I needed them.

This is really cool! Thank you for sharing. I love playing Sims and Skyrim, and I had no idea you can customize it so much in Skyrim! Is Skyrim Creation Kit mod available on the Steam workshop, or is it on Nexus? Looks incredible!

You can only get it off steam (under tools and Skyrim as to be registered on steam to get it). It can be tricky if you you are making a fully customization follower; but you can find tons of useful tutorials on Youtube. There are even kits to download to help you out; but it is easier to make a female follower than a male (it is possible; but that is also why you see more female followers though).

Another and much easier option is a mod called Familiar Faces.

Anyways I started working on one lot that I hope to finish once Realm of Magic is out and see if I can place a secret portal outside as I have a story I want to try when I start the new game where sims discover it and entered the other realm and only sims who are part of a club I want to make can enter with that special door.
