How do you stay busy until RoM releases?

I've been insanely busy this summer so the only prep I have done is to get other things taken care of so I can get back to my Simming. The last of our guests left earlier today so I am now trying to catch up with all the latest news, reading discussions and getting a lot of good ideas from other players. I cannot believe how quickly time has flown by this summer! Now I can sit back, relax and enjoy what is left of the good weather. And I can't think of a better way to do that than by creating two new families, a new couple and a loner Sim for Glimmerbrook. Very excited to see what the gurus have to show us about the update and what will be included to celebrate Sims4's fifth anniversary. Even though I was disappointed to learn there will not be new spiral staircases, I hope this update will include a few things I want. So we have Maxis Monthly later today, a live stream to showcase ROM on the sixth then the release of ROM. That's going to be a lot of stuff happening. LOL In between all of that I will be creating my new Sims and their backstories. Compared to what so many of you are doing to be ready for this pack, I feel as if I'm not doing enough! You're all very imaginative and your plans for ROM sound amazing. :)
