How do you use clubs in your game?

I haven't used clubs in a little while, but I did enjoy playing with the dj club and the dance party club (whatever those clubs are called) because I could send my sim out with her friends and they would party all night til like 5am - fun times. And they would have dance battles and stuff. But I never created my own clubs, because I loved those two so much.

All of my 5 main family members are in clubs. They're also all club leaders.

My clubs don't meet as often anymore simply because there's so much to do in game and I sometimes forget about them.

Some of my clubs meet at home and some meet at club lots. Still on my to do list is building specific lots for each club. So far I only have two. A cafe for the coffee club and an art center for the art club.

Now that we have rec centers I'll probably use that lot designation for any new club hangouts.

I also have a couple of NPC clubs just so that I can see them when my sims are out and about. A swim club that meets at the pool and an elder club that meets in the park and grills

I use clubs to put together friend groups. I have been playing rotationally in the same save lately and it's been really helpful to see who is connected to whom. Normally I call them "Don's Love Squad" or something stupid so I don't have to use last names.

Once in a while I’ll have a:
Romance Love Club
Black Widow or Black Widower Club
Ghost Club
Friendship Club

I've barely ever used them. Maybe I should.

I have a children's club that meet in the park so whenever my sim kids go to the park there are other kids there to play with.

I have several teen clubs, some for hanging out, others based around interest, swimming club, cheerleaders, drama club, etc.

I've created multiple bowling teams using clubs

I have a club for SAHMs that meet for coffee

I play family style rotational play so most of my clubs are build around teens and younger but I have a few other ones as well.

These all sound like great uses. I should probably explore clubs more.

To help skill or career performance gain.

Or to make the lots more unique with clubs that make it different from the other same-type lots.

Or just to give some sims a little more personality (by simply belonging in a club).

I use clubs for groups of friends or relatives. That way I can easily invite over the entire group by starting a meeting. My main sim is usually the club leader so I set the activities to whatever suits the situation. Being friendly with club members is almost always one of the activities but the rest changes constantly.

Homework clubs for kids and teens. This is primarily so I can summon children to help my kids do projects and the like, but other social activities will also get points in these clubs. When a family starts getting larger, I'll create a club that has a core family member and then those who have moved off-lot, so I can arrange for family gatherings and the like. Before I downloaded SimDa, I used to use clubs to find dates for my sims. I sometimes create novelty clubs for a particular sim and their interests: when I first got Bowling Night, for instance, I created The Bowling Blondes which was just for blonde women to bowl together. I often have a yoga or exercise group for sim-women.
