- I believe before PC got that update, the limit for culling was 200 Sims regardless, so I believe we still have it. You can mark Sims as being Played Households though, which I think don't get culled, and currently doesn't have a limit to how many can be marked as Played. It took me a while to realize console could even do that lol.

Because we can't set the Max Sims Count like you can on PC.- You can mark sims as played and they won’t be culled. The only difference on console is the population cap which cannot be changed. No clue as to what the max number of Sims is though, best guess would be the PC limit prior to the culling options update.
- Hey sorry to jack your thread real quick, where is the button to post a topic?? Don't tell me the website is glitchy too!

I dont remember if you have to become a full member before you can post your own threads. You have to post like 30 posts or something like that. Im sure there's a new member intro thread somewhere.- And I wish they would update console with the new culling methods. A clarification from @SimGuruDrake on the population limit for console would be nice.

Honestly I still don't even understand how the version for PC works lol, it still confuses me. But I agree I wish we knew what our population limit is for right now. I have a feeling eventually we'll get it patched in to match PC.- pepperjax12308 years agoSeasoned Ace

When I said how do you know the culling limit I meant we don't have the option to change the culling limit like the PC so we don't know how many sims are allowed in the neighborhoods before culling takes place."pepperjax1230;c-16237984" wrote:

Ah sorry, I misunderstood, though it turns out I was wrong. It used to be 200, but now it's 305, I didn't know it was raised. Source. (Scroll to the bottom of the second comment.)
