How does my remake of Vlad look?

It's personally not my taste (I think the hair color is too dark) but it is quite nice and it probably took a good amount of effort to get him to this point. Nice CAS skills. <3

Please don’t take this the wrong way, but the way I see it throughout 2000 to today, certain sims have become so popular that they have become iconic of the sims series, for example, Bella Goth, Goopy GilsCarbo, Don Lothario and the man himself Count Vladislaus Straud. These sims (with maybe an exception of Mrs Goth) did not become so popular from being good looking, they became popular for being over the top and fun to play!

So what I’m trying to say is that Vlad is SUPPOSED to be ugly with his hooked nose, thin body and tiny eyes! Vlad is the perfect example of part of the charm of the sims franchise. It’s silly!. Take Sunny the Tragic Cown, The Social Bunny, Mrs Crumplebottom, the recurring themes of gnomes and llamas! These are all parts of the sims series throughout the years that are part of what makes the franchise so great, and Vlad is part of the silliness which is why I, and a lot of other simmers, love him!

To sum it up, your Vlad is attractive and I hope you enjoy having him around in your game if attractive sims is what your game is about, which is again not a bad thing. But to me and many others the whole point of Vlad is his sheer unattractiveness. Remember, that’s just my opinion, you are clearly very talented at making beautiful sims! :smile:

Wow some of the comments are not very nice… :( I understand that not everyone likes this version of Straud but there are other ways to say it

@hunniboo1 I enjoy having weird looking sims in my game so vlad's features don't bother me, however I really like the way you made him younger. Also his eyes look kind of sad to me which adds to the character I think.

I like what you did, but now Vlad looks like some random normal Sim, not to say that you did bad. I just prefer the original Vlad.

I like what you did with him personally, he looks really good, I've left him the same and given him multiple makeovers just cause I just like to play with him. :)

sure thing I find myself giving more make overs the more time I spend with premades, sometimes it's just fun to switch things up.

Ah, okay, well that's cool, glad I was able to inspire someone. :) I apologize for replying so late, I never got the notification you'd quoted me. I don't get all my notifications for some reason lately. Anyway, hope you're feeling better and that you're enjoying your Vlad. I haven't actually played with my Vlad, I just did the make-over. I probably will at some point though.

I'm not a fan of the hair color. The bright, vibrant brown is just too much contrast for the very pale, dead looking skin and eyes, but other than that he looks fine.

I like that you made him over. I really can't stand the way he looks...way over the top. I will tweak him, now that I'm playing vampires in Forgotten Hollow. He cannot be allowed to make babies, lol. I am not a "everyone has to look like a movie star" type player, but yikes! If there was no chance of reproducing, I wouldn't mind but, dang! :#
