How does the "Eternally Welcome" power actually work?

I've tried it many times yesterday but couldn't figure it out. My vampire visited his neighbour's house at night and tried to use "vampire guest" interaction on their door. He played animation but no...

Thanks for the reply! I tried it a few times in a row and never succeeded. Yes she was not high ranked yet, just reached Prime Vampire rank!
When she did the interaction, I saw her go up in the air, using that dark smoke kind of FX effect towards the door and after that she just stands there without doing anything else. I did not observe that she looked at her hands :(
