I'm thinking about having them marry second cousins because I don't care for them townies because they fall look too much alike. ? - There are no genetic consequences.
- All I know is while the game will recognize first, second and third cousins(the order wont show but 'cousin' will show up in their profiles) in the same generation, it will not do so for cousins('cousin' wont appear) that are once/twice/third removed(aka belonging to a different generation). The tree though doesn't care and will adjust. Do be careful with interfamilial relationships because it can get real messy with the tree if done in uncontrolled sequences(like you don't want your Gen 2 uncle going after his Gen 7 niece(the cutt off is Gen 3 when they start seeing the rest as non family members), this happened to me before and fixing the tree was impossible because the game kept putting the "blank" picture in place when I kept trying to remove his status as the father).
- VenusARussellSeasoned NewcomerSecond, does it give them strange genetics?
