How hard would it be to do layers in CAS?

It might a bit too late to do it now but I also think it's gonna be a lot of work to avoid clipping and stuff. That being said, they could do cuz they can do it with hair and hats. I believe for almost every hairstyle, they would have to make a separate mesh to use when the player pairs it with a hat. And they might have to do this with clothes too if you want layers depending on the shape of the top.

It's even worse, there are actually two different hatchops for two hat positions.

I too think it's too late for layers to be officially introduced. CC is the next best thing really and cc makers do a fantastic job with the tools they have (though not enough scarves to my liking). Accessory jackets and t-shirts as underlayer look good with old maxis clothing.
