What's changed for me majorly is how I dress my sims. Call it silly but if it's about to turn into the colder seasons of fall and winter whenever my sim ages up I pick out more clothing with long sleeves, hats, scarfs etc etc. And when a sim ages up in the end of winter or mid spring I dress them in more capris shorts short sleeves etc etc. I didn't realize it but I really needed that in my game play haha.
That and as someone said it makes going out and collecting stuff a bit more harder. Gardening haven't really changed to much for me. My sims just plant stuff for every season and only tend to the ones that's ready to harvest.
