For me, gardening has really added a level of difficulty, as I sometimes use gardening as my Sims money-maker in my legacy challenges or rags to riches challenges. I love that each plant has its own season, so it's not as easy to make money if the plant is dormant. I've always felt this game was super easy to make money, so I absolutely love the challenge that gardening brings.
The thermostat increases bills....which is a bit too high, but again, I love the challenge.
I love the calendar as it makes scheduling events so much easier. I love to plan ahead for my Sims. & I feel that time goes by really fast in the game now. I have seasons set on 14 days...as 7 days felt too short....and the 14 days just fly by now.
I have multiple existing Saves & my Sims live in different worlds. So I feel that in each Save I'm experiencing something new with weather for that world. I think the Devs did a great job, at what type of weather will be in each world. I started playing Seasons in Oasis Springs....so I really didn't get to see much, naturally, with the desert being mostly warm weather, a few raining days in Fall, & a few cold days in Winter. But I switched over to my Save in Willow Creek & I am having a totally different experience.
Oh & holidays....they're my all time favorite. As a generational/family type of player....I think the holidays just makes everything feel more real.
Seasons for me is a game-changer. I've been playing since it was first released and I feel I've barely scratched the surface as to the pack in its entirety.
