- Monet114 years agoSeasoned AceI would say that I have a small to medium amount. Most of it is centered around lot traits, holiday traditions, and club activities. I have a fair amount of artwork and sculpture from TheJim07 because I think the museums need better stuff, and he has awesome stuff. I have custom food and drinks so my restaurants and bars have more options. I have a mod to make the censor smaller. I just downloaded 10 pieces of makeup and 2 eye sets to give my sims a little bit of a makeover. I have decided to limit myself to just these as I got a bit carried away with CC makeup in the Sims3. I have recently added IceMunMun's canning station, but haven't used it yet. So I don't know if I will be keeping it. And if my sims don't stop with the "drop everything to shovel snow NOW" attitude, I will be looking for a mod to take care of that. :)
- Light on cc, just 900 MB, but 261 mod files (some mods consist of more than a single file, so let's say 200 mods). The opportunity to custom-tailor the game down to the littlest detail is just too good to pass by. Small things like being able to choose your own color of skiing boot can go a long way.
- blunote004 years agoSeasoned AceDepends on the game I'm playing.
Not very much CC except some must haves. B)
As for mods, I got a lot of this and a lot of that. :# o:) >:) - bshag4lv4 years agoSeasoned AceNice to see you blunote! I'd recognize that avatar anywhere. :D
I chose vanilla is drowning, but what that really means is it's only gasping right now. I love my buy/build cc which is probably 90% of my folder but have a few but very important mods I can't really play without...from MCC, Wonderful Whims, Have Personality Please, multiple bug fix and gameplay mods from LittleMsSam and bienchen83. Patch time is not a big deal for me because all the modders update their mods very fast, for which I will be forever grateful! <3 - kathmhughes4 years agoSeasoned AceVanilla. Like double creamed vanilla bean vanilla.
I went all out with cc in Sims 2. Tried mods in Sims 3. I'm no longer a broke grad student, and time is money, so I'd rather have the game boot faster and no have to look around for stuff. I just buy everything instead. - simgirl5424 years agoSeasoned AceI originally only used MC Command Center because I was switching from Sims 3 to Sims 4 and it is the closest to NRAAS available.
At last look, I have probably 50 folders inside of my mods folder. Some if them contain hardly anything while others have over 100 inside.
I have thinned out my mods recently, but there's still a lot of them. My biggest ones are probably custom food and recipes and the traits that I added earlier this month.
The upside is different sometimes improved gameplay the downside is while I look forward to new updates every month I dread having to update my mods and am oftentimes relieved to see that some of them rarely break.
I'm going to have to do another thin out (or something) because we got a new bigger/faster computer and when everything is moved via data transfer I don't want to "clog" it with all sorts of, what could possibly be, unneeded mods. - SweetieWright_844 years agoSeasoned AceI have a lot of mods but the closest thing to CC that I have are a galaxy loading screen and fan art map overlays. I don't have any CAS or Build/Buy CC because I know how I was with TS3, I had way too much. I'm quite proud of myself that I have refrained from downloading CAS CC for so long. :D
- whubble18174 years agoSeasoned AceHAHAHAHAHA. I am a modder's dream come true. BUT, that being said, I can and do occasionally play the game vanilla style when the mood strikes.
- I have a lot of mods and CC in my game. I just added in Turbodrivers unlimited Jobs mod so if my sim wants to work more that one job they can. I want to say thanks to all the mod and CC creators.
- It didn’t start out that way as I only had MCCC and icemunmun harvestables, but then I saw jomsims and their amazing collection of clothes...
