I find that the franchise has a Great or Missed oppurtunty when it comes to celebrating anniversaries.In 2016 we got 1 Features from early iterations to comeback in TS4. We have a Valentnes Gnome Event in 2015. In 2020 we got a hottub. In 2017 we got a T-Shrt. So how are you excited when it comes to this year's anniversary? What features Do you Want to be introduced to suprise you? Are you also waiting for the big sales and giveaways in the anniversary?

I am Cautiously excited in this one. On one side I do not want to be dissapointed but in the other side I wish they would have a huge surprise like Cars or something fan faovrite!

Not only will you get the update that you are wanting. You will also still be getting Feb's update as well. Sims 4's updating is not like Sims 3's where we can pick and choose which updates that we want. Sims 4's update was set up so that your game will have all the updates for the new Pack. So you can't skip updates in Sims 4, like we could in Sims 3.

I don't care about anniversaries... and we're always getting stuff/new gameplay in patches. We just got a new emotion :)

But honestly, giving us a T-shirt for the 20th anniversary giveaway? You can't expect much when it's free and they do have other things to do first, and you do expect a reskin of something, but a T-SHIRT?! The worst part is that it doesn't show how they think we're unimportant, but it shows they don't think the anniversary of the game is important.

I think there's a chance that something they were planning as a base game update anyway, like cars or freed babies, might be released in time for the anniversary. But I wouldn't expect them to do anything particularly special outside of that, given what they've done in the past few years.

I’m probably going to completely forget about it so almost anything will be a pleasant surprise.

That heart shaped bed would be cool though.

Instead of giving us a hottub or whatever, I prefer them finally adding a much bigger feature such as cars or updated babies.. it has been 6+ years already..

Personally I couldn't care less about a new bed or new hottub, even IF that object is iconic to the Sims' franchise. I think this game needs more substance instead of more chairs and tables at this point.

Probably will not happen though..

oh come on, cuz we're trying to be realistic here, of course would be much better to have new patched gameplay but as they probably won't, would be cool to get old furniture back, to at least get something. we'll be lucky if they even make a tweet about the anniversary

I know that the community was super excited last year and we ended up with a reskinned hot tub for base game. Sure it was nice for folks that didn't have the pack that had the hot tubs in them but... I've not once used the gifted hot tub. We will be lucky if we get anything at all this time around other than recolored items for base game that were previously in purchased packs. I have become skeptical and pessimistic in my adult years.
