How is HSY like with short lifespan?

Since I'm now finally allowed to create a post I have to ask the question that has been bothering me a lot lately: does anyone of you play HSY on short lifespan? And if yes, what is it like?

I mean I know that it will be more challenging regarding grades and aspirations (especially the one where you have to do your homework 5 times is not the best suited for short lifespan) and I know prom might be weird if your teen ages up on Friday and the only prom they ever have is before they even get to school for the first time...

But besides that, what do you think? Is it playable?
I'm quite worried because of the weird lifespan change they made to normal lifespan and the fact that on long lifespan school seems to end after half of the teenage lifestage... It gives me the impression that short and long lifespan were not given so much thought... :(

I would really like to get HSY (in case the major bugs get fixed soon), but I also can only play on short lifespan, because everything else bores me too much...

I'm hoping lilsimsie can continue her short lifespan legacy on YouTube soon. The stopped a few weeks ago so that the next heir can go to highschool but she has not done an episode since the release. I assume it's just too buggy to do that at the moment :(
