I'm not really mad that it is a game pack to be honest, even though I don't really build that much. The blog post also implies that Sims might get some sort of Like and Dislike system, which probably is a part of the actual game pack and not a base game update, similarly to the Lifestyles in Snowy Escape.
It also seems to introduce a ton of new build/buy items, maybe even more than your typical expansion. I mean, we got two full new kitchen sets, three or four new bunkbeds, two or three different styles of sectional sofas and a bunch of matching chairs and lounge chairs. You've got the modular shelving unit (possibly two) and a ton of really good clutter! This is absolutely too much content to put in a single stuff pack, even though the actual gameplay might be kind of lacking. The past game packs have always really focused towards gameplay and I just feel like that they really wanted to add a ton of new decorating objects into the game and that it was too much for a stuff pack but too small for an expansion pack
