How long does a childhood/teen phase last?

My child sim got the "Clingy Phase" but other than a negative moodlet from interacting with others, I didn't see a difference in her behavior toward her mom (who was her bestie compared to the dad, I checked). If that was all there was too it, I'm a bit disappointed. :cry: I expected her to follow her mom around and annoy her.
The other child received the "Picky Eater Phase" and I didn't see much of a difference either, other than a negative moodlet, but it only lasted for about a day or two and it was gone before I could fully test that one. The "Clingy Phase" lasted about as long as this one too.
