imo young adults are 18-35, adults 35-65, elders 65 plus. i like to edit my sims throughout each stage for realism's sake, gradually aging their bodies/hair and maturing their style, especially during/after major life changes. like pregnant sims get face shine, young teens get light acne, older teens and college kids get heavy acne or enlarged pores, and if a sim was a heavy juice/nectar drinker in their young adulthood i give them flushed faces when they become adults. i was actually just thinking about cc shopping for more high quality skin details cc for aging/lifestyle purposes.
