How long we can stay offline?

Doesn't the EA app go online the next time you open it?

I’ve played offline from time to time. However you need to select offline on a regular basis in EA App.

For me, it varies ... I've been able to stay offline for as long as 4 hours or as little as an hour and a half. It doesn't seem to matter that I have checked the Keep me signed in option, it will still log me out.

I meant when ur not connected to Internet

Selecting offline when you online before disconnecting your pc from Internet helps?

With latest ea app update it seems we can't play offline at all.. no matter how many times you launch it online first

Yes I tried all solutions, deleting EA app cache, restarting, forcing EA updater

It's mentioned in EA help but no official comment from EA on fixing the issue

I paid hundreds of dollars on this game I just wanna play offline, My pc doesn't have WiFi card and it's already exhausting having to connect to Internet every while when you already paid alot to play the games

Now we can't play at all unless you're online..

This needs to be fixed..

Yeah that doesn't work anymore it opens up EA app again and when offline it gives you "game license has expired" error

It happened with recent version of EA app update it seems, at least before you could play offline if you have connected to Internet for a while

My internet went out due to a service fix, I tried to play my Sims 4 on the PC, and them tried my PS4 version.
Without basic internet, the game doesn't load, which is kind of messed up on EAs part. I usually want to play the game offline.
When my internet came back, I was able to access my game, but it sucks that we need internet now to load it.

I was busy playing my sims when we had a powercut, I played until my battery of my laptop died which was about four hours. Only after exiting the game did I see the message that EA app got disconnected. I did not try reconnecting since the battery was like 10 percent, but I had no problem playing while I had no internet. Although I was already ingame when we had the powercut, so not sure if I could connect without internet. I can test it for you if you want. I will just unplug my fiber and try to connect to my game ;)

Try turning off the option for Sims delivery to Never. You can always check on it when you open the game and download a new update if you want then. Turn off all options for connections for news, surveys, etc. That might help.

EA seem to ignore that people these days are having trouble with internet connections due to bad weather conditions and damaged landlines and might be sometimes offline for days.
