EA seem to ignore that people these days are having trouble with internet connections due to bad weather conditions and damaged landlines and might be sometimes offline for days.
My SDX is always off I only check once when I launch the game,
Not sure if this relates to surveys being on but even disabling this you need to be online to go into game setting and do it
