I like to revamp the 'penthouse' dorm, as you described it, to meet their needs. A row of cabinets beside the mini-fridge with a microwave atop the fridge, of course. When one of my Sim kids was married, I made the front left dorm room theirs. Double bed.
I change out the wall treatment, add drapery sometimes, and give them a new carpet. I have also put a door on that rather drafty shower! Erik is a Global Superstar who graduated high school early, but he doesn't deserve to have other stare at his backside when showering. :open_mouth: I add a gaming table for relaxation. Basically, I make it 'home'.
