How many categories for musicians to license songs?

I have all the game packs and want to be 100% sure I'm licensing as many songs as I can every week in my current household where one of the Sims is a famous musician. Can anyone tell me precisely h...

I just got a music mixing station for the household earlier today and haven't used it yet. I gather you are limited to just one licensed mix tape at a time as well?
