How many ghosts do you have in your game?

I have a total of 9 ghosts. Only one was made by me, she's known as the Weeping Willow. She's supposed to be a living myth, a story of a woman pushed down the well on her wedding day. (It's kinda grim, I'm sorry...) She's heartbroken and wears her wedding gown still - she's dripping wet and leaves puddles everywhere.
The others are always present within the game because they are generated like Psyded, the Von Haunts - Whitaker the doggo.
Or they are downloads from the Maxis account like Aghostus Ceasar or Uniflora.
If I count Guidry and also the mysterious ghost horse that I've never seen, it would be 11 Ghosts total. There's also a pet cemetary in Brindleton Bay, I don't know if there are any ghost pets hanging out there. I still have to create a family to live there.
The Weeping Willow sounds so sad, but kind of very beautiful too. Heartbreaking.
I didn't know Maxis has ghost sims in the gallery! That's nice! I only have Psyded and Whitaker saved in my played households, though I could put Temperance there too. I never actively play any of them, though.
I just completed the Friend of the Animals aspiration which required my sim playing with two different ghost pets and it seems the game generates random ghost cats and ghost dogs to the Deadgrass Isle in BB (maybe other places too... I think I might have seen a random ghost cat in Glimmerbrook too).
Oh right, forgot about Temperance! And I forgot about Lyla Grunt.
Aghostus Ceasar is part of the household created back when the Halloween pack came out. And there's Uniflora, she was created when Romantic Garden came out. (In case you would want to find them)
So the game does generate ghost pets in the vicinity of the graveyard. That's a great touch! I don't see Whitaker anywhere in the world sadly. I'm not sure what would trigger him to visit - but my guess would be that he's connected to the pet cemetary somehow. Also congrats on achieving that aspiration! That must have taken quite some time.
Uniflora and Aghostus are great sims names. 😁
Thank you! I may add them in my game at some point as background sims 😄 I have some Maxis sims waiting for their time in my library.
Yes Whitaker is probably connected to the pet cemetary. I was lucky and spotted him with my sim and now they are friends. I had never seen him before that though. And thank you! It did take some time, but luckily my sim was able to make friends with the cats in my cat cafe 😁
