I want to play a life simulator not a singles simulator and yes I do play the Sims 4 less than past Sims games.
1. I want to rule over my Sims, not have the game rule for me. I should be the Sims' god and love and destroy them as much as I want.
2. I want all life stages fully fleshed out, not just two life stages being the only focus for the entire iteration's life.
3. I prefer gameplay, new worlds, and supernaturals over CAS and fluff to make my Sims look pretty. I'm want substance, not just frosting.
4. This is the first Sims game I haven't bought packs for because of the lack in the base.
Even Maxis denies it being that much of a life simulation game. They refer it as “It’s less of a life simulation but more a game about drama.”

Another Guru called it a time management game which I think describes the game the best since the game lacks drama.
