- Hermitgirl7 years agoSeasoned AceThe intensity of it comes and goes for me depending on other things I'm doing and if I'm in the simming zone. When I'm playing I need at least 4 hours a shot (or more) sometimes this turns into just going to eat and sleep (kind of sleep) then back to simming. Usually if I'm really into it unless I get pulled away by real life ect.. this can go on for a long time. Then some days or even weeks I don't play at all though.
Oh I'm a binger... We really need Simmers Anonymous meetings. - Jayel-17 years agoSeasoned AceI used to manage about 15 a week, maybe more if I had the chance, but I can't seem to get that extra hour on the days I play now, so it's dropped to about 12 hours.
- FlyingPotato6597 years agoSeasoned AceFor The Sims 4 - couldn't play it that long as the game-play is so limited.
If you were asking for this poll for TS2/TS3 - I would be voting "PSSH... who is counting" - Breazona7 years agoSeasoned AceNone while I save for a pc :frowning:
- Around 0-10 throughout the week. However on holidays it is much higher.
- 0-10. On a monthly basis.
- EricasMyTouchQ7 years agoSeasoned AceIt varies depending on what I'm doing. Up until May, I used to play Sims 2 for up to 14 hours a day. June-August were busy for me so I didn't get much time. I got ready to come back to the game in September but the battery in my last laptop decided to stop charging and slowly die. I had to wait for 5 days for my new laptop to arrive. Then I got about a month of playing time before my online class started at the end of October. I have played for maybe 12 hours total since then. I should get more playing time starting in January.
- InuMiroLover7 years agoSeasoned Ace10-20 hours weekly seems like a safe estimate for me, especially when there is something I really want to get accomplished. If I have the time and in the mood I might squeeze in an hour before work, and if I dont have any errands going on after work I might throw in a few more hours. I dont work weekends much so that's when I put in alot of time.
- This sounds stupid but it depends how depressed I am. If I'm in a really dark place mentally I escape into the Sims and could maybe play 60 hours in a week. Then when I'm feeling better I take a break away from it and fix all the stuff that I let slide in my life (like laundry, heh) and do my other hobbies like embroidery or reading books. To be honest my mental health can deteriorate so much sometimes that the Sims acts as a last barrier between me and just straight up lying on the floor doing nothing. I say to myself hey, playing the Sims is better than literally staring at the wall waiting for the dark time to pass.
- The Sims is my only game, but I don't spend that much time gaming. It's just for relaxation a few times a week. But sometimes I get into more of a flow, like when Seasons released I played about 5 hours a day for a week.
