- I like to play large families, so I need lots of space. I like houses with at least 2 levels or sometimes 3.
- Anna-Banna7 years agoRising VeteranI tend to like single stories because then I can see all my sims pretty much at the same time.
Having said that I do tend to play with 2 storeys a lot more. Never had more than that though. - pebblesrcks7 years agoRising VeteranWhen playing a family, I usually go for a single storey home because it makes it so much easier to see all my sims at once without constantly moving from floor to floor. Also, toddlers take so long climbing stairs, sometimes I lose patience and just teleport them where I want. :D
- Lyrie187 years agoSeasoned AceI love open, one story houses, they are my all time favorite <3
But I don't mind a house with two or three stories either. - Before the glass roofs came in, I would have said two stories, but right now I'm really enjoying being able to have an indoor garden at the top of my home as a third floor.
- I voted for two stories although I'd say I play single story houses quite a bit as well. Just depends on the family funds really as I don't tend to let my Sims max out their careers.
- ladybreid7 years agoSeasoned AceI like 2 stories but I'll also have a she shed or workshop of some sort out back. I tend to have small basements for a storage room and laundry room.
ETA:
I specifically like Cape Cods, A-Frames and storybook cottages. - Much easier to handle everything in 1 story houses for me.
- MDianaSims7 years agoSeasoned AceI actually prefer to play with a single floor, but that doesn't always work. I like to keep track of my sims and that's easier when everything is at the same level.
- Suziish7 years agoSeasoned AceI prefer a single story home, but I will play a two story house and occasionally with a basement, but that's as far as I'll go. I can go up one, and got down one, but nothing more than that. But, ideally, I keep it one story.
