I guess there is more than one way to look at that too. Generally as I've said before pet packs come 2-3 years after base game release. 2002 isn't halfway between 2000 and 2003, but yeah it is for the Sims 2 and 3. It would be easier to compare balancing the chart evenly between all the iterations for the Sims 4. Sorry my mathematically brain has to view it like this.

Sims 4 might not get as many expansion packs as the other iterations got seeing how both SPs and GPs are more focused this iteration, so cycle could still end in 2019 which is a year longer than the Sims 2 and 3 got if you look at the chart. No one knows for sure either way. At this point I don't know if they'll get six expansion packs even since September is when the base game came out. Why it is nice to suggest to Simmers get their ideas for what they would like GPs to be too because there are double of those released per year and higher chance of those being complete. But yeah good chart to show Sims 1 lasting four years, the Sims 2 lasting five years, the Sims 3 lasting five years, and Sims 4 approaching its fourth year come fall so it is over its halfway mark now. Get your ideas while you can Simmers and don't let others distract you with the petty fights when doing so. :) Gurus have said Sims 4 will be developed in all of 2018, so EP 05 I know will be a sure thing. I love following the patterns like figuring out a SP and GP would be released this fiscal quarter and it will.
