How many Sim projects/stories/families do you maintain or creating?

The keyword for me was 'maintain'. I sometimes create a new save because I want to play a particular story or build a specific house, but I usually play it for a couple of days and then go back to my main save. After that, I never go back to the other save, and it gets deleted when I feel like cleaning things up. I'm quite attached to my legacy family.
