How many simdays from start to graduation?
I'm planning my routine, but not having the game yet. My understanding is that a sim needs to take 12 classes/subjects, and that it's very hard keeping up with 4 classes per term. So, perhaps 5 terms ...

Thanks for more input! I believe I will use a residential lot for all my locals. It's the only way they can attend both universities. Being a residential lot, I also can allow them to stay for as many years (game rotations) as I need, even if they technically did graduate during the first year. I assume 1 term would last a half year, for realism, meaning some will stay in the uni housing 1-2 years after they graduated. That would probably not be possible in a dorm.
And - in a residential housing I won't need to worry as much if they all are on different terms :)
