How many sims to Selvadorada?

How many sims do you plan to take at once to go Jungle Exploring? I created six roommates and put them in an apartment complex together. I was going to have them go on a "roommate trip" to Selvadorada. Do you think taking six sims will be too many?

One kind of basic question I have is about rotational play. If I have a single sim in a household who dies without an heir in that household, will I be able to continue playing with my other households in that same save? Basically, I don't want to start my entire rotation over just because one household died out?

I've never had that happen in order to find out. If I'll just be able to carry on with my other households then I'll be happy. Basically, I won't see a Game Over screen in that case? I'm happy to let individual sims die of game-induced causes, I just don't want to lose my other households.

Of course. If you are playing a household that has one sim, and that one sim dies...the game will automatically go to "manage worlds" to select a new household

Thanks for answering that for me. I tried looking up the answer before and still wasn't clear about it. Good to know. They can go ahead and die then. :p

Since the patch took away some CAS items, I've put my adventuring crew of 8 on hold and deciding instead to create a married couple, Selvadoradians themselves, to go adventuring into their own jungle lol. It'll be on a new game so it doesn't break my other saves.

It took away CC content or items that come with the packs?

A (now broken) pair of PJ pants from Parenthood, a BG(?) bowler hat, and from another report there are some other CAS items concerning accessories that aren't animating/rendering properly when placed on a Sim.
  • Wow! I have been getting some of my long term Sims ready to go, but after reading this I am thinking I should send a Sim that I am not very attached to at first until I know how to deal with the dangers.

see, I love the danger and risking death with my sims! haha
  • @aaronrulz I guess you are braver than I am! When one of my beloved Sims caught fire and the Reaper appeared, I quit the game without saving and lost a ton of progress. Perhaps I am too attached??? I will probably just take one Sim at first and keep the ones I have been preparing with the herbal potions until later.
  • I'll make one sim, an adventure sim and have her go through both of the new aspirations. Then I've been meaning to start a new challenge. The asylum challenge is almost done, just grinding out fabulously wealthy :p. Maybe I'll attempt the super sim challenge again, my version is really fun in the sims 3.
  • I am sending a my occult lovers the other being a Vampire that I have been training in various skills for a week and his ''werewolf'' girlfriend (she's wearing the cat/wolf/animal ears :P) They will be staying at the Lot for ''lovers'' and while in the jungle wolfgirl has camping gear with her so they will also be bonding on the trip aswell as conquering the jungle and temple :D
