I can totally relate to all, lol. I think that it was in Sims3 that there were a finite number of saves before you couldn't use save anymore. I have lost numerous saves through power outages, bad mods corrupting saves is a biggie. I don't know if that was true or not. Fast forward to the Sims 4 and I save like a mad woman, lol. If I got up to do something, I usually automatically save, and when I return I save again because I couldn't remember if I saved or not.🤪

Thank you. As you can probably tell, I'm still very much jazzed about it. We were teens when we wed.

I would have to put a timer on to do that. LOL I get totally caught up in my gameplay, I lose track of all time.

Thanks for the reminder. I need to back up, since it's been since right before the last patch.

Do a game repair. I find that helps. I also make certain to do so right after a patch.

I save anytime something big happens in my game. I'm lately a bit "lost" in the game, I'm currently playing with random Sims just to explore the game more so I don't mind if I just lose everything 😅

I should recommend something called a battery backup that you can plug your computer into. This gives you time to save and shut down properly in the event of a power outage.
I still try to save (save as, usually) often, though.
