How many Turn-on/offs works best?
I assume we can give each sim a high number of turn-ons and turn-offs, unless we already spent all those slots ion likes/dislikes etc. But, you who played a while with turn ons/offs, how many do you ...

I finally bought Lovestruck, and seeing how many totos premade sims have was a huge surprise. Some actually had TONS. I don't know how the game calculates, but with 12 turn-ons and 8 turn-offs I reckon it will be quite hard finding a good match...?
Anyway, my original idea of checking just once per category fell flat. It's obviously too few. So I'll double it :) In my game a teenager will select one turn on or off per category. I don't care much about clothes colors and clothing styles, but I guess a teen might. Then, on YA birthday they will check one more turn on/off per category. The goal will be that there should then be the same amount of ons and offs (not written in stone, though). I'll maybe allow single sims to add another set or adjust the existing on their A birthday. Basically, most of my sims will have 1 turn on and 1 turn off in each category.
PS: I find the hair color category to be real tricky. So many unnatural colors. What is the point of having green hair as a turn-off, and pink as a turn-on? And the natural colors is not very interesting either, other categories will be more important. At least he grey hair color can indicate something age related.

I suppose you could add green hair as turn off if they don't like green colour? And you could add pink hair turn on if they like pink? Or maybe you have a specific sim in mind that has pink hair and you want them to fall in love, so you add pink hair as turn on.
Yes, and those colors are available as hair colors. It just looks overwhelming that so many hair colors that max 1 resident will have. Feels like a wasted turn on/off, but i know, I can just ignore this option. It feels meaningless choosing any hair color, so many of my sims will want a partner with a parents' hair color, LOL.
