About 60 saves. I'm scared of even count them at this point. :#
I had over 100 saves when I decided that it was enough and deleted most of them. I left about 30 of my favorites. It didn't take long until I started creating new saves and now they've doubled again.
I find it annoying to play multiple households in one save, so when I want to play with different Sims/households/chalIenges I just start a new save every time.
I do play all my saves rotationally and I would find it really difficult to delete any of them anymore.
