How often do sims die in your game? part 2
So, I'm saying "part 2" because I remember asking this question at least two years ago when not a single sim would die unless it was because I intentionally killed them. Now it seems as though sims...

Yeah, turns out I had neighborhood stories turned off for the sims I play, but it was on for unplayed households. Which might explain the excessive moving that unplayed sims did. Some families with 4 or 5 sims, would move out of their house into a new house with one bedroom .... And several other unplayed families had that I had no real contact with had 4 or more babies. Neighborhood stories seem like a neat idea on paper, but in practice it has made a mess of my save lol. Luckily I've been able to fix the save with MCCC.
That and some of the phone calls you get are just flavor text. One of my sims ended up marrying a sim who had called at least three times asking if they should go for the promotion. My sim said yes every time, and the other sim called back later to say they got the promotion. But on marrying that sim and having them move in, they were still at level one of their career field.
