I have my age span on normal and it's sort of part of my legacy challenge so yeah sims die when they get old but I think it's only for that reason nothing else. I think there might be something in the legacy challenge later on but other then that they just die of old age. I used to hate it now I'm just kind of used to it because I get to move onto the next heir or I am already when it happens.
