It depends. If they change a lot on their own, it either means I have no reason to change them or I have to change them right after. It usually depends on how much they are exposed to the elements in my experience (heat, cold, and water exposure means I do not change them at all myself because there is already enough laundry).
My normal family, though... I change them more than I like to. My main family consists of several celebrities, two of which are five star celebrity sisters. I have no clue why, but the younger of the two is the biggest fan of the eldest by a mile. She always spawns in wearing her clothes, she sometimes even changes into them in regular play (I have had no others do this during regular shower sessions, but certainly not as dedicated anyway regardless) so I always have to change her. Celebrity perk or not, you would think that someone of the same level would not do that. Then again, they are still disgusted at everything which it is completely against their personalities.
