It depends on the SIM. Many of them only have one outfit in each category, but my favorites often have several categories with the maximum number of outfits. When I get a new pack, I will often just go into CAS and give my favorite families new clothes. Now that I have seasons, I find that my Sims may need a change depending on the weather. I wish we had a rainy weather category added as well as hot and cold.
I would like a Rainy Day category as well. But what I'd like even more is just to be able to "add a coat" to an existing outfit. I think it's kind of silly that sims can be wearing one outfit inside, then when they go outside in cold weather, it's a totally different outfit.
Maybe I just need to redo how I create outfits and keep basically everything the same and just add a coat as the top and then it wouldn't look so odd to me. I always have some warm weather everyday clothes for my sims, like jeans and a sweater with boots so if I just added a coat that had a similar looking top attached to it like she wears inside, it wouldn't be so jarringly immersion breaking.
Maybe they should add more clothes categories, personally I would love an indoors and outdoors category, so we could add a coat for outdoors. It's most noticeable in cold weather, indoors they would wear a sweater or something but for outdoors they would really need a coat. I would love if we could have seasonal clothes, or at least save outfits for future use. However, I have noticed that it doesn't matter much what clothes I chose, if I remove all filters so I can select summer looking clothes as cold weather outfits and sims don't seem to suffer from cold.
