Yes, I would play that exact same way if my sim lived in Sulani, but I usually just visit that world and don't reside in it.
Now if I would ever actually live in the SE world, I would have it always be winter for the entire world and they would always just be in warm weather attire all the time. But I probably will never ever live in that world, because I'm not big on Japanese/Asian architecture and since I can't change the world to reflect that, it will just probably always be a vacation world for me. I would have preferred to have had a more traditional mountain resort type snowy get away with pine trees and rustic A-frames.
